The method: move slowly, keep the camera visible, make eye contact and nod, act like you belong. People mirror your energy — calm reads as calm, furtive reads as threat.

Look for: the frames that only open up when you are close and unbothered — the direct gaze, the shared moment, the subject who has clocked you and does not mind.
