Double Take

You've photographed someone. Before you move on, change your position and shoot again - from the other side, from lower down, from further back. You may prefer the second version. You may prefer the first. Occasionally you'll want both.

This is about not committing prematurely to one angle. The scene is still live. Work it.

Watch for: the moment the subject notices you and the natural quality disappears. Sometimes the second frame is better precisely because the subject has clocked you and their expression has changed.
