The method: find one strong fixed element — a mannequin, a mural face, a statue, a shadow — and wait for its human counterpart to complete the pair.

Look for: matching poses, mirrored expressions, the real beside the represented, the living beside the fixed. The picture is the relationship between the halves, not either half alone.
