Shoot SOOC for a Week

Straight out of camera. No Lightroom, no Capture One, no colour grading, no cropping. Whatever the camera produces, that is the photograph.

This is more frightening than it sounds. Post-processing has become the place where a mediocre frame becomes an acceptable one — where composition errors get cropped away, where flat light gets pushed to drama. Removing that safety net forces you to get it right in camera.

Shoot JPEG. Set your colour profile or film simulation before you go out. Expose carefully. Frame deliberately. Live with the results.

Camera Settings

JPEG only. Set film simulation or colour profile before shooting. No edits. For black and white: set your camera's B&W mode and shoot only that.
